Access DJP Services Using NIK

Individual taxpayers can now use their population identification number or NIK to access limited tax services from the Directorate General of Taxes. The use of NIK as a NPWP of course brings various benefits for individual taxpayers, including simplifying the identity number so they don’t have to carry a card or memorize the NPWP.

The transition to using NIK as NPWP is being implemented in stages in all government and private agencies so that services or products that require NPWP, for example banking services, can be accessed using NIK.

Utilizing the NIK as a tax identity number will also make it easier for individual taxpayers to carry out tax administration, such as filling out withholding slips or tax invoices for individual taxpayers who have a NIK is done using the NIK.

How to do a Self Updating of Taxpayer Data so you can start using NIK to access DJP Online Services.

  1. The first thig you need to do is log in to the tax website pajak.go.id using your NPWP and password.
  2. After successfully logging in, change your profile data by entering the Profile Menu.
  3. In the Profile Menu, you can update your data independently without needing to go to the tax office. The types of data that you can update include : Main Data [NIK], Other Data [Mobile Number and Email Address], and Family Member Data. Make sure your data is complete and according to current conditions.
  4. Every time you have finished updating data in each of the categories above [Main Data, Other Data, KLU Data, Family Member Data], make sure to save the new data by click the Change Data button.
  5. Especially for the Main Data section, if you see that the validity status needs to be updated, you can immediately carry out validation by filling in your NIK in the NIK / NPWP box.

If after checking your NIK data is valid and matches the name listed in the system, you will receive the message “Data found” and next to the check button a check mark will appear and it will be say Valid. The final step is to click on the Change Profile button and follow the further instructions on the screen.
